There is an announcement from AOL here Important Message for users who have installed Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), as well.
That is splendid news, that I have been eagerly anticipating!
The Leopard/AOL incompatibility, is one reason, I have not as yet, installed my copy of Leopard 10.5.x, on my new Intel iMac.
And I am not intrepid enough to use BETA software, so I have not tried AOL Desktop.
I, as you, think that the AOL mail system, is superior.
As well as some other, very useful functions, of the AOL application.
